Terms of lease and sale

1. Parties and object

These terms govern the lease and sale of the domain name bostonendocrinologist.com (the "Domain") by Start Me Hub srl, via Galasso da Carpi 1, 62100 Macerata, Italy, VAT IT01935510436 (the "Owner"), to the customer who accepts them at checkout or by signing a purchase order (the "Customer").

2. Lease

With a lease the Owner keeps the registration of the Domain and grants the Customer the exclusive right to use it for the duration of the subscription. There is no minimum term: the Customer can cancel at any time and the lease ends at the end of the period already paid.

Lease payments are collected by Stripe and sold through Link (link.com), which acts as merchant of record, issues the receipts and lets the Customer manage the subscription.

After payment the Customer provides the nameservers of their DNS provider and the Owner points the Domain to them, normally within 24 hours. The Customer then manages all DNS records.

The Owner renews the registration for the whole duration of the lease and will not sell or lease the Domain to third parties while the lease is active.

The right to use the Domain exists only while the subscription is paid. If the Customer cancels, or a payment fails, is disputed or is not settled within 14 days, the Customer loses any right to use the Domain: the Owner restores its own nameservers and the lease ends.

Amounts already paid are not refunded, including for the remaining part of a monthly or yearly period, except where the law requires otherwise.

3. Lease-to-own

Lease-to-own works as a lease. When the agreed number of monthly payments has been received, the Owner transfers the registration to the Customer at no extra cost. If the Customer cancels or stops paying before the last payment, the Customer loses any right to use the Domain and to its transfer, the Domain remains with the Owner and the payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.

4. Purchase

A purchase starts with a request sent through the form on the website. The Owner replies by email with the bank transfer instructions; the price is paid in full by bank transfer. The transfer of the Domain (push within the registrar or authorization code) starts once the funds are received, and the Customer receives the invoice.

5. Acceptable use

The Customer must not use the Domain for unlawful content, spam, phishing, malware, infringement of third-party rights or content that misleads users about medical or professional qualifications. The Owner may suspend the lease, after notice where possible, if it receives credible abuse reports. The Customer is responsible for the content and services they run on the Domain.

6. Liability

The Domain is provided as is. The Owner is not liable for indirect damages or lost profits; in any case the Owner’s liability is limited to the amounts paid by the Customer in the 12 months before the event.

7. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. For business customers the competent court is that of the Owner’s registered office; consumer protection rules of the customer’s country remain unaffected where applicable.
